2022 MACA Cancer 200 Ride
The "DEE IS GREAT" team honoured Daniela's memory and passion for cycling by riding in the MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Research across Western Australia.

In October 2022, a dedicated group of Dee's friends formed the "DEE IS GREAT" team to ride in the MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Research, an annual 200km bike ride over two days to raise funds for cancer research in Western Australia. The team was determined to honour Dee's memory and passion for cycling, and to raise as much money as possible for an important cause.
The 11-member team rode 100kms in total. Perth Stadium was the starting point, followed by Mandurah for an overnight stop before heading home early the following morning.
The team looked fantastic in their pink jerseys sporting various icons of Dee's favourite things. As a special tribute, Dee's sister Natalie rode Dee's bike in her honour. Congratulations to all for their tremendous effort. Dee would be so proud.
The Daniela Dwyer Foundation is a young foundation, and we have plans for future fundraising events of our own, both in Perth and Canberra. Stay tuned, we'd love you to participate! We'll include details here as soon as they are available.
